All of your work will be presented in your book.
TASK - Responding to a commission - The environment
Now you have some good skills to create a film poster (Harry Potter) You are now going to design your own Environment poster campaign.
Your first task is to research awareness posters:
Find 4 posters that you could get inspiration from. Explain the following:

Describe the poster content (what you can see) Denotation

What is the meaning of the poster? (what is the message?) Connotation

Describe the colours used.

TASK - The Basics of Photoshop
Your task is to understand the basics of photoshop.
Open a new explorer window and find your documents.
Create a new folder called "Media Enrichment" This is where you will save all of your work, especially PDS - Photoshop files.
CLICK HERE to take you to a shared folder. Download the two files and save them in your new Media Folder.
Go to the windows icon bottom left and look for Adobe Photoshop, click on the 64GB one and the application will open.

TASK - Photoshop - Combining Layers

TASK - Digital version of your magazine design
This task will really improve your creative digital skills! Using Photoshop, you are going to create a digital version of your paper design. You will use the following tools/skills:

Creating a new file

Adding rulers as guides (boarders and spine)

How to create and manipulate shapes
-
How to add titles and a body of text
-
How to import and manipulate found images from internet searches.

TASK - Product Design - Energy Drinks
This project is about how to research and develop your own energy drink design. You will learn about the following:

Developing a product, thumbnail to digital designs.
Make sure your research page is presented neatly in your book. Download the template to your Media Folder (this should be in your Documents.

Who are the characters? Describe them, their role in the story and their costume including how they speak

This project is about understanding how important packaging is, you will undertake the following:

Understand how words and colour matter in promoting a product

TASKS TO DO FOR THIS LESSON:

Save your perfume photoshop files as JPEG files
-
Login to your WIX account and add the perfume JPEG images to their website

Upload the research on packaging you did (Word Documents) to your WIX website.

Create a section on your WIX website explaining how you created your perfume packaging.
If you have completed this they can add previous work to your WIX website OR continue with any other photoshop work you can improve and upload to your WIX website.
